Drive to Fernie, BC

Today we drove from Banff to Fernie, BC.  The skiing is supposed to be really good because there is lots of powder.  We left around noon and didn't get here until about 7:00pm.  My mom and me drove the van behind the bus because people were telling us that the road could be sketchy.  The road was fine, but part way through the drive, we had a leak.  We first thought the toilet was leaking dirty water, but it turns out it was coolant!  My dad figured out that one of the hoses that was under the bed was spraying coolant, so he worked on fixing it while my mom drove to the next town to buy a mini Shop Vac.  My dad fixed the problem and we were on the road again.  When we got to Fernie in the dark, one of the workers was leading us to where we were supposed to go to park, but we couldn't make it around the corner with the bus, so we had to back up.  It took us forever because my dad couldn't see anything, and Ben and my mom were directing him where to go.  It is really hard with a trailer attached to a big bus.  Good thing no one was around because I think it took us a hundred tries almost.  We took a different route, and that one was easy -- we went in the exit way.

Your dad is amazing to pull that off, he must be the best driver around, can always get a job as a truckdriver! You all enjoy the skiing overthere, you will never get used to Beaver Valley anymore.
